Today we drove to the west coast and spent the night in Rocky Harbour.  We visited the airport in the town of Gander famous for hosting thousands of people on airplanes redirected there on 9/11.  Its airport was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1959 and the arrivals area is still mostly the same including furniture. We had a tour given to us by an airport employee.
