We spent the day on Quirpon Island.  Highlights included a boat ride to see an iceberg and look at whales.  We also took a hike along the island to an area that may have been a Viking site.  The iceberg visit was special as they are rare at this time of the year.  We also had close up look at a group of three whales on the boat trip.  We took binoculars from home along on the trip and they came in handy on the island.  The island is located in an area rich with food the whales like so we saw quite a few from land during the day.
